It was also said to warn the players that the benefit of the workload will not be tolerated at all.

If this rule applies, then Jasprit Bumrah can come under its target. Bumrah was able to play only 3 matches in the series against England due to this workload management. Bumrah played 3 matches while being the lead bowler of the team. After Lords, when Bumrah came to play the second consecutive Test in Manchester, his bowling speed declined. Bumrah usually bowls at a speed of 140–145 km per hour on average, but his fitness replied in Manchester Tests, due to which his average speed came down to 130–135 km per hour.
If Bumrah is not available due to Bumrah workload on important occasions in the upcoming series, then this new rule can become a big problem for Bumrah. Bumrah is throwing long spells, but the matter of real concern is that he is facing problems in throwing long spells in consecutive matches.
