Sanjay Manjrekar, who was commenting during the first match of India and England, made a comment about Kohli’s batting without naming. Sanjay Manjrekar pointed to Virat Kohli’s weakness without naming KL Rahul’s technique of leaving a ball. After this, there has been a debate among the fans about Manjrekar on social media.

Kohli’s old ‘off stump’ issue again in discussion

During the ongoing first Test between India and England, when the Indian team scored 87 runs, KL Rahul left a lured ball from England captain Ben Stokes out of the off stump, which made the ball directly to the wicketkeeper and did not pose any kind of threat to the batsman. Commenting on this, Sanjay Manjrekar said, “This is another example in front of you. If there was a former batsman here, he would have tried to play shots on this tempting ball and then it would have been in trouble, but both these batter (Jaiswal and Rahul) are not making any such mistake.”

Even though Manjrekar did not name any player, but the cricket fans understood that his target was on the old weakness of Virat Kohli, due to which he has been out while playing the balls outside the off stump many times.
