Shortly before the end of the day, the first innings of the Indian cricket team ended. Team India scored 387 runs, England also scored the same run in the first innings. England wanted that the first over being put by Jasprit Bumrah should be the last over of the day.

The Indian team wanted one over to be put after this, but England did not want so for fear of falling wickets. Earlier, on the third ball of the last over, Caruli moved from the front. Mohammad Siraj, Bumrah were also seen arguing with the batsman.
