Papa did not get support
Akashdeep comes from Sasaram city of Bihar. Akash himself has told that he was not getting his father’s support in a cricket career. Akash had told that, "My father did not like to play my cricket at all, he understood that there is a crime like playing cricket. The background where I come, do not have good beliefs about the future in cricket." Akash’s father believed that his son should focus on giving exams of a government job, so this Indian fast bowler used to hide in those days to play cricket.
Father and elder brother died within 6 months
This is the time of 2015, which can be called the most difficult time in Akashdeep’s life. His father died due to paralysis. In the same year, while being taken to a hospital in Varanasi, Akash’s elder brother also left this world. Akash stayed away from cricket for 3 years under these difficult circumstances, but after coming to Durgapur (Bengal), he started the journey from batsman to a bowler. Akashdeep has so far taken 128 wickets in the first-class career of his 38 matches.
