India vs England Test Series 2025: England veteran Joffrey Boycott believes that Virat Kohli’s Test retirement will pierce India more than Rohit Sharma. Both Indian veteran players announced the cricket world by announcing retirement in the month of May. After his retirement, everyone wants to know the answer to the question, who will take his place?
Through a column written in The Daily Telegraph, Joffre Boycott claimed a huge claim saying, “Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s retirement has reduced the expectation of Team India to beat England. There will be no shortage of Rohit
Joffre Baycott further said, “It doesn’t matter how much talent and experience you have. If you are not feeling mentally ready then this is not a good thing. Rohit has been a great batsman, playing brilliant shots but his Team India will not miss much than Kohli, because Rohit’s test records will not be well.”
He even said that Rohit Sharma does not have a natural talent like Virat Kohli. Boycott says that Rohit Sharma has an idea of how complex task can be to open in England.
