The grand master of Batting Sachin Tendulkar has created another record by scoring an unbeaten 200 against South Africa in an Odi innings. Records are made to be broken, but in my opinion batting records are made to be broken by Sachin. I had only three players in mind who could have broken Saeed Anwar’s record of highest score in an Odi innings, Sanath Jayasuriya and Sachin Tendulkar but it was broken by CK coventry of Zimbabwe last year he equalled Anwar’s score of 194 but since he remained not out he held the new record.
Jayasuriya and Tendulkar came close to it on several occasions but just fell short of it , Sachin recently scored 175 against Australia and before that he scored 186* against New Zealand, Saeed Anwar’s record remained intact for 12 years, and now Sachin’s 200 might also remain intact for a long period of time, Sehwag and Dilshan are the only two players in world cricket who are mad enough to attempt such a monumental feat.
Hats off for the Grand Master, he truly is a living legend.

I haven’t seen any statement form Saeed Anwar as of yet, I don’t know if he has seen his innings.

Any double hundred made on any pitch is a proper one, this one is special because it was made against SA pace attack and in 50 overs as I said only Sachin could have done that.
Wasim,
When Saeed Anwar scored his 194, Sachin said it was the best innings he had seen. I wonder if he still feels the same
this was proper double ton… came against proper attack that has no.1 bowler…
way to go sachin!

He has been a treat to watch all these years so I won’t mind even if he continues to play for the next 10 years and if BCCI keeps on preparing Flat tracks my prediction is within next 3 years almost all of the batting records will belong to Indian batsmen. Especially Sehwag and Sachin.
Great inning from a great player, highlights are must to watch today or soon.
I asked him to play at least 10 more years and let my son (hopefully) watch you live and also some more records.
