Baluchistan stormed into the finals of Pentangular Cup after they pulled off an amazing victory over Federal areas team on the final day of the match, after being bundled out for just 57 runs in the first innings nobody expected in thier wildest dream that they would be able to pull this victory especially when they were without the services of their captain Misbah Ul haq, they were set a target of 393 but thanks to a scinitlating century by Saeed Anwar junior they managed to reach the target against a bowling attack which included Sohail Tanvir, Rao Iftikhar, and Yasir Arafat. Sohail Tanvir could not perform at the same level as he did in the first innings when he had career best figures of 7/21.

Shoaib Khan Jnr 64, Bilal Khilji 35, Saeed bin Nasir 58 and Kamran Hussain 20 also contributed to the victory.

Kamran hussain also took five wickets in Federal Areas second innings.

Baluchistan will now face Younis Khan’s NWFP in finals who comfortably defeated Punjab, surprisingly both Sind and Punjab failed to qualify for the finals despite having the strongest teams.

It will be a Misbah V Younis Khan  in the finals, Younis Khan is in terrific form and his team won all 4 of its matches and is still undefeated in the tournament.
