Pakistan won the toss and elected to field a decision which Imad Waseem might regret there is a forecast of rain, SA have posted a target of 261 in 50 overs and if the rain strikes the D/L will kick in and might make the target even more difficult to achieve. SA batted well against Pakistan three batsmen scored 50 or above, Adil Reza who was the leading wicket taker for Pakistan until this match could only take one wicket, Skipper Imad waseem took 3. whereas Ahmed Shezad and Mohammed Ramiz took two each.
The target is not easy as SA has a very disciplined pace attack spearheaded by Wayne Parnell, also Pakistan’s batting line up has not scored 200 runs in the tournament so far, although on several occasions they batted second and won with a lot of overs to spare, but this is the highest target for them in the tournament so far and against one of the best bowling attack in the tournament, Pakistan batsmen especially Umer Akmal and Ahmed Shezad will have to bring their A game tonight.

Its still raining, its yet to be seen how many overs are deducted and what will be the new target but a minimum of 20 overs should be completed in the second innings.
It will be a 47 overs game and the target will be adjusted the covers are being taken off. The new target is 252 in 47 overs.
This pair needs to stay on the wicket especially Ahmed Shezad.
Pakistan are 72/2 after 17 overs they need 17 of three overs that is the target after 20 overs just in case the rain comes back again which is quite likely.
The thunder is back Pakistan are 79/2 in 18 overs they need 10 more of two overs to be safe if the match is stopped because of rain. Its 83/2 now, the drizzle is back.
The rain has stopped play once again. After 18.5 overs Pakistan are 86/2 this is not good. Imad Waseem should have batted first. The target will get steeper from here if more overs are reduced due to rain.
